Joanna Ho is the principal of Holistic Education Consulting. In this rapidly changing world, childhood education also needs to adapt and adjust accordingly. Joanna is a proponent of holistic education for children based on each child’s particular interests and strengths. She believes that with early recognition and understanding of each child’s particular interests and strengths, together with appropriate guidance, we can help children achieve and perform to their full potential; using the children’s intrinsic interests and abilities as the basis, we can develop well-rounded young people on their way to the path of success.

Joanna helps families and students with inquiries about schools and education issues in Canada. She is passionate about helping students find their best educational path, by assisting with school applications as well as providing academic and extra-curricular advice and planning. She has extensive experience and success in the elementary and secondary education landscape in Canada, especially with private and boarding school applications. 

Outside of work, she has been actively involved in volunteering activities through the Saint James Music Academy (Vancouver) and the Alumni Association of St. Paul’s Co-Educational College, Hong Kong (British Columbia Chapter). She has previously been involved in the Crofton House School Parents Association (Vancouver) and Parents of Students of Phillips Academy (Andover, MA, USA).

Joanna has a Bachelor of Science degree (with High Distinction) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia. She has completed an introductory course in Family Engagement in Education offered by Harvard University, as well as possesses a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Joanna 配合每個學生及家庭的需要, 致力幫助學生申請入讀最適合他們的學校, 以及策劃學術及課外的各種安排, , 務求學生可以在最合適的上課環境發展及成長, 她對於幫助學生報讀加拿大的私立學校及寄宿學校特別有成功經驗.

Joanna 在工餘時間參加的義務工作機構包括溫哥華的Saint James Music Academy 及香港聖保羅男女中學校友會 加拿大卑詩省分會, 她亦曾經參與溫哥華Crofton House School 家長聯會以及美國麻省菲利普斯安多佛學院Phillips Academy Andover 家長聯會的工作.

Joanna 在多倫多大學取得科學學士(最高榮譽)學位後, 在卑詩大學取得法律學位. 她完成了哈佛大學提供的家庭與教育的入門課程,亦持有TESOL(英語作為第二語言)的教授文憑.
